So here it is, the end of May 2012...
One darling tiger kitten (of 7!) left to give away;
Our new friend Tim Leigh's last 'family' dinner with us... He has been apprenticing with Ryan and the Parker Family Farm for 3 months, and he left to apprentice with a farm in Kentucky the last day of May.
Family dinners... organized Wednesday suppers together.
Tonight's meal was roast beef and veggies... here is the aftermath....
The new dining room is just beyond those three windows...
that will be a great space to have!

Some throw candy!
That is VERY exciting!

Lizzie at family dinner night... what a great picture of her!
'Family' dinner.... a joyful time.
The aftermath of family dinner needs to be documented... this is a partial look.

These two cousins (my grandchildren) love to work on buckles...
***
Lizzie at her dance recital! What an exciting time!
She has her costume on under her dance t-shirt... fancy feathered hair piece!
Her Dad and Mom gave her a bouquet of flowers after the show!
"For me!!!?", she said excitedly?

Huge pansy! It is hard to tell here, but it must be more than 3 inches across!
Weeds, weeds, and more weeds...
White lilacs... early this year, but still make me think of my father, Grampy Dickens.
The hummingbirds are back early this year... they like the bleeding heart and low phlox.
Sure looks and feels like spring around here!

Dan and Rachael
They are at a wedding, but I am not sure if this picture was taken in VA or NC!
***
Another birthday dinner! We set the dinner/table in the entryway.
Lizzie, Emily, John R, Maeve, and Tim (Parker Family Farm Apprentice)
Lizzie shows off her lobster. Martin looks on- he hasn't had a lobster, yet!
This is Tim... enjoying lobster! (Ish and Evelyn to his left)
This was to be outside, but the entryway worked out just great!
It's John's b-day dinner, too (day before)... Maeve enjoying her food.
Maeve and Kate.
Little Evelyn... daughter of Ish and Julianne (Apprentices of Parker Family Farm).
She has started to really enjoy 'family supper nights' at the farm!

Lizzie with Emily's old dolly... she lugs that doll all over the farm. The hair on the doll was so ratty and falling out that I had cut it completely off... it doesn't matter... she loves the dolly! :-)
Who is that handsome carpenter! Look at that new dining room!

John and I had some time with Maeve on Saturday morning.
She wants computer time! [Yes, that is a 'paper' clip holding her vest up!]
